I'm not really a big fan of Sandman but I love drawing dream. five years ago i was duped with the "sandman craze" that everybody kept talking about, that time my grandma gave me cash for xmas money, so i blew it on buying the ENTIRE sandman library! (yes even dream hunters) today i kinda regret buying the library but at least it introduced me to many of my fave artists (P. Craig Russell, Kent Williams, Jill Thompson , Yoshitaka Amano among others) Funny as i was doing this while watching The Untouchables (cool movie!)
Wow, this is really a beautiful drawing. Looks like you really spent some time on it. My personal favorite Sandman artist is Mike Dringenberg, as a side note.
I think Gaiman is a great door opener for non comics people. I used to adore all of his work, then I met up with a couple of people who knew more shit than I and then it became obvious that its not the best thing ever.
and on a side note, the very first novel I read was Neverwhere by gaiman.
Ayos naman, pero a friend says its too dense, and I agree. Should've just followed your advice and had fun with it. Ironic really, I might end up submitting Windmills number 1 since dami dami na nameng mga plate sa eskuwela.
Yeah, I think he did "Seasons of Mist" and maybe "A Doll's House" too. I remember really studying those "Mist" issues, the art in there is awesome. Jill Thompson, I should say, is a close second. I'll always love the way she drew Delirium.
